Basic Combat

One to go in Basic Combat for Londa and Lee!

Reaching your brown belt is a huge milestone, not only as it’s the 9th belt in the rankings, but it means the next time you grade, it will be black!

It’s taken years of training to get to this point, so please join us saying a huge well done to both Londa and Lee who earned their brown belts in our Basic Combat program earlier this month.

Well deserved!

Green Belt for Ollie and Yellow for Mirel!

Another celebration of achievements today…

Firstly, Ollie received his green belt in our Tiny Tigers program and Mirel reached his Yellow Belt in our Young Dragons program, both earlier in November.

Well done boys!

Jeet Kune Do

Another Jeet Kune Do Black Belt at TMA!

We have the great pleasure to congratulate Rich on reaching his black belt in Jeet Kune Do recently.

Rich has been training with us for many years now and thoroughly deserves to reach this milestone. Particularly his recent effort to get in for his black belt test preparation!

Rich is part of a group of Jeet Kune Do students who have trained together for years, however, because of COVID, work and moving house Rich was unable to test with three other students back in July. Let’s just say he covered a lot of miles each week to get in for his preparation!

Rich is a pleasure to have in class and always gives 100% – if you see him in class, please pass on your congratulations.

It's Orange for Jack!

It’s been a busy time for belt promotions for our junior students – next up to congratulate is Jack who achieved his Orange belt in our Young Dragons program.

Our Young dragons’ program is high-energy and specifically aimed at 7-11 year-olds and based on our unique blend of functional and effective martial arts.

New Tiny Tigers Belt Promotion - Junior martial arts

Please join us in saying a huge well done to Alex from our junior martial arts program who achieved his yellow belt in Tiny Tigers, this month.

Our Tiny Tiger program is high energy driven and specifically aimed at 3–6 year-olds, giving them a fun foundation and introduction to martial arts.

As a parent, the best gifts you can give your child are confidence, respect, fitness and awareness of their own safety!

Black Belt

Two Students Reach Black Belt

It takes years of hard work and dedication to reach your black belt in martial arts.

Not only to learn the necessary skills but to learn and grow as a person, improving in areas such as self-confidence, respect, self-awareness of course control. These are key skills and ones that we believe are some of the most important to learn.

So it gives us great pleasure to announce that both Ethan and Patryk from our junior program, Leadership, have achieved their black belt after their recent grading.

Both have been training in martial arts with us for years and so we’ve enjoyed seeing them grow, both as martial artists and as human beings. if you see them around the academy, please join us in congratulating them.
